Bag load capacity test
Weight detection is the core test for the safety of bags. By simulating three states of static, dynamic and extreme forces, the strength of the shoulder straps, the tightness of the stitching, and the stability of the frame are measured, and objective data on product quality is obtained.
1. Static test
Fix the bag on the tensile testing machine, gradually increase the load to 120% of the nominal capacity and maintain it for 10 minutes. The test requirements are: the shoulder strap length does not exceed 5mm, the stitching is not damaged, and the fasteners do not deform. This test simulates the continuous forces during transportation and lifting to ensure safety during daily loading.
2. Dynamic test
Fill the bag with an equal amount of iron sand, fix it on the mock model, and walk at a speed of 4 km/h for 5 km, while applying an up-down vibration with an amplitude of 50 mm. The test requirements are: the shoulder strap does not slip, the back panel does not deform, and the stitching is ≤ 2mm. This test simulates the bumps and friction during hiking, verifying the reliability of long-term use.
3. Extreme test
Continue to increase the load to 150% of the nominal value and perform a free hexagonal descent of 1.5 meters; then use a pull rod to drag for about 1 km. The test conditions are: the frame has no cracks, the zipper does not break, and the fasteners do not break. This test can handle emergency transportation or accidental falls and provide safety redundancy for extreme use.
From the laboratory tensile testing machine to the vibration table simulating mountain roads, the data obtained from the load test will convert "durability" into quantifiable indicators. After consumers purchase the product, they can check whether the quality standards indicate "passing 120% static tension and 5km dynamic tests". Only bags that pass these three tests and maintain the integrity of the pins and frame are worthy of accompanying long-distance travel and being carried with confidence regardless of the weight during the journey.
